The Olympics are being held in two locations this year: Paris and Tahiti. For those who aren’t too great at geography, Paris is located in Western Europe — and Tahiti is way in the middle of the goddamn Pacific Ocean.

Despite the central location of the former, athletes have had a host of problems with their accommodations including (but not limited to) bugs, terrible beds and bad food. In contrast, the surfers posted up in Tahiti are doing okay. Actually, more than okay: They’re goddamn great, and they can’t stop posting about how cool their lives are, especially in contrast to their Parisian counterparts.
