It finally happened. Legendary skater, Tony Hawk shared the mic with Ska heroes Goldfinger playing their hit song 'Superman.'
The band's single which originally appeared on their 1996 album 'Kingpin' has been solidified in pop/punk/ska lore thanks to Tony Hawk's Pro Skater. 'Superman' appeared in the original THPS, and returned to the soundtrack when Tony Hawk 1 & 2 were rebooted in 2021.
Gamers are always quick to drop names like FIFA or NHL when it comes to epic soundtracks for video games. But before all of that, we had Tony Hawk's Pro Skater. Millennials can now rejoice that these legends have finally shared a stage together.
