Marine biologists spotted a "whale fall" or dead whale while live streaming during the final dive of this year’s Nautilus expedition a team of biologists discovered a whale fall while exploring Davidson Seamount off central California’s coast. The researchers are part of Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary.
