Independent Drone Operators Say Their Drones Are Mysteriously Dying While Flying in New Jersey
The plot thickens.
Earlier this month, it was reported that New Jersey residents were seeing strange crafts flying over the state. These appeared to be drones, but even if they were, no one was quite sure about what kind of drones they were or where exactly they were coming from.
Now, we have a strange new piece in this puzzle. According to one local drone operator, he attempted to fly his own drone, which had a fully charged battery, close to the craft. However, soon after his drone approached it, it suddenly lost its battery and fell out of the operator’s control.
Any theories?
Jersey dude uses his fully charged DJI to approach a drone hanging out over Picatinny. Gets near and it drops like a gnat. Dead battery.

Seen reels / tiktok videos about other DJIs with unexplained battery drain too. Wonder if it's some sort of anti-drone effort by feds pic.twitter.com/qA6jyVCYrv
