This dude should be on his hands and knees thanking the good Lord for having his back and for the bomb maker's inability to make a better bomb. 

I know I'm not a bomb tech, nor am I a police officer, so what I'm about to say doesn't mean much, but if I saw a PVC pipe contraption like that in some dude's car I would simply walk away. That's easy to say though from the comfort of my desk. 

Charles Legault of Putnam County, Florida is currently being held and is facing charges of "possessing an explosive, aggravated battery, trafficking methamphetamine, and illegal possession of a gun silencer," according to News4Jax. 

The deputy was rushed to the hospital but later released without any serious injuries. The main question is who was the pipe bomb for? Because chances are Legault had other targets in mind.
