Over the course of decades, we’ve settled on pretty much one singular design for passenger airplanes. Of course, there are variations when it comes to specifics, but in general, if you book a flight, you know that there’s going to be a single wing on each side of the plane and that the plane itself will basically look like one big tube.

But what if that wasn’t the case? This flight simulator fan has decided to test it out, and while some designs are surprisingly functional, it’s safe to say we’re not going to be seeing them on runways anytime soon.
