'There's Something About Miriam' was a British reality/dating show from 2003. The entire premise of the show was that none of the contestants were aware that the woman they were wooing, Mexican model Miriam Rivera, was actually born a man.

While the winner, Tom, played nice for the cameras, the contestants all ended up suing the show, and eventually settled for an undisclosed amount. The show itself was also widely criticized for pulling a stunt like this, and was understandably not picked up for another season.
