We aren't sure how this ritual came about, and we asked our resident UsedCarMan to try and it explains it for us, but all he had to say was, "IDK, I've never heard of people doing this before, but I worked in used cars, they might have different traditions on new lots."

So whatever this guy's boss uses these cut collars for, will remain a mystery, but you don't have to be a detective to pick up on how uncomfortable this interaction was. Those hands were a bit too shakey for my liking.
