Reddit user "assholefromwork" shared their experience filming the video: "These people were attempting to pass the stopped traffic on the freeway WELLLLLLL BEFORE any emergency vehicles showed up. They weren't trying to get out of the way at all. There's a longer version of the video on my channel. It wasn't even a good move on their part as the median was also lit on fire by the accident. We were eventually directed to pass on the shoulder after they had put all the fires out."
