Everyone loves a good wild revenge story on Reddit, but let's be honest, most of what we read on the internet isn't true. It's hard to find realistic revenge you can emulate; petty revenge isn't dramatic, it's small, untraceable, and quietly satisfying. And when one retail worker decided to enact some on her annoying manager, she did it to perfection.

Annoyed that her nepo free-loading boss was repeatedly taking credit, perks and bonuses for impressive sales numbers that were mostly thanks to her, u/DoubleDandelion decided she needed to get him back where it hurt the most. "One thing he loved talking about constantly was his baby," she said. "He even made a picture of the little [guy] the wallpaper on our display computer." Acknowledging that the manager's baby was objectively an ugly one, and that his perception of it was blinded by love, Dandelion decided to make a few minor edits to the picture. "[I] increased the size of the kid’s eyes by about another 10%. Not enough for daddy to notice, but enough that it was startling if you were seeing the picture for the first time."

Soon, each time he enthusiastically brandished the photo, the viewer would have an even harder time hiding their honest reaction than before. Now that's how you get petty revenge.
