Mom makes the rules, Dad helps you break them. I'm not sure why it tends to play out this way more often than not in homes across the world, but that's just the way it is.

Dads are always down for doing dad things, which often involves shenanigans (within limits). I'd venture to say that just about all of us can remember a moment where Dad snuck us some candy or let us stay up past bedtime to watch an R-rated movie.
