During their big-ass tech event today, Apple announced that the video game League of Legends would be coming to Apple mobile devices like the upcoming iPhone 12.

While LoL is still a popular RPG, it's nowhere near as big as a game like Fortnite, which Apple sorely lost when they refused to compromise over their greedy app developer fee structure.

Apple still hoped people would be excited about seeing this game come to iOS devices, but people saw it for what it was—a desperate plea for popularity—and proceeded to roast Apple for their half-assed attempt at appealing to gamers.
