Like the Rolling Stones once said, "If you start me up with some funny randoms, I'll never stop." Well, maybe they didn't say that, but I'm sure they implied it somehow. 

Although last weekend's main focus was stuffing one's face with obscene amounts of turkey, mashed potatoes, and gravy, plenty of noteworthy news stories were passed around the dinner table as well. For example, the comedian Matt Rife got upset that people were taking offense to his comedy. Specifically, he responded to backlash around a domestic violence joke with an Instagram link to "special needs helmets." 

Now I'm not the first person to point out that it's getting harder and harder for comedians to toe the line without having to fear that they'll get in trouble, but responding to that trouble with something blatantly disrespectful is not the way to go. Especially when you've based your entire brand around appealing to women, and your joke in question targeted them directly. It looks like Matt Rife expected the boys to have his back a lot more than they did. Maybe "being hot" isn't the real reason people don't take him seriously.
