An animal escaping from a zoo is a rare but dangerous occurrence, and it’s important to be prepared. 

Some zoos, mostly in Japan and China, have devised an ingenious system for making sure that employees know what to do in the event of an escaped animal. They simply have a guy dress up as an animal and then chase him with nets and dart guns while he runs around.

These drills serve the important purpose of teaching zoo staff how to respond during a crisis, but they also serve an even more important purpose: The pictures they produce are really funny.
