When going to eat at a restaurant, we place a certain level of trust in the business that they have our health and safety in mind. Poisoning customers is bad for business after all. But despite the existence of health and safety inspections, restaurants still routinely cut back on cleanliness for the sake of profits. These 25 restaurants certainly did, and hopefully, they get hit with an inspection notice ASAP.

Although fast food spots are known to be dirty, we assume that the massive corporations behind them ensure that the food is being prepared safely, by and large. However multiple photos here prove that fast food employees themselves might be putting that idea to the test, with one Subway worker picking her feet, and another standing on a counter barefoot. One Taco Bell customer even found a fake nail in their food. 

I think I might just cook for myself tonight.
