Comedy Central announced today that they're going to be rebooting Beavis and Butt-Head for another season, and this time the jokes are supposed to resonate with younger Gen-Z viewers.

While the other reboot in 2011 didn't last long, this idea seems even a little more far-fetched, trying to repackage a cartoon for a generation of viewers who had never been fans of it in the first place.

Nonetheless, it'll be funny to see what they come up with. Mike Judge, the show's creator, said in a statement that he agreed to do the reboot because “It seemed like the time was right to get stupid again.”

So what better way to remember the original raunchy cartoon than by finding a bunch of poor souls who kinda, sorta look like Beavis and Butt-Head. Hey, it makes at least as much sense as rebooting the show.
