In the latest real-life remake of the Disney classic, the role of Ariel is being portrayed by black actress and singer, Halle Bailey. Not to be confused with Halle Berry, as most of the internet found out earlier this week.

Speaking of the internet, people seem to have forgotten that Ariel is a fictional character in a children's movie. Her skin can literally be any color, she doesn't have to be white. Also she's a MERMAID. Stop with the blatant racism and discrimination.
