Everyone's tastes are different. Some love the finer things in life and some are just as satisfied with name-brand goods. But one corner of Reddit has made themselves the arbitrators of what is bad taste, r/ATBGE. 

Yet sometimes you are presented with something traditionally tacky and you can’t not admire the craftsmanship that went into creating someone's nightmare. The subreddit r/ATBGE (or Awful Taste But Great Execution) is a celebration of the uglier things in life that you can’t help but applaud. Many people would see a middle finger high heel and be confused, I for one, am interested.

Interior design is a hotly debated topic on the internet but one can’t deny that Superman squirrel and winged fox with a beer are works of postmodern satirical art that belong in a home where someone will cherish them. Who thinks of a Campbell’s Soup candle or a toaster van? Only visionaries. You can turn your nose up all you want but if you walked into a bathroom and there was a Vespa handle for you to hold onto and flush the toilet with, you’d be amazed.
